Inspiration is a wonderful experience, as it comes from within and overpowers day-to day thoughts and distractions. A vision, (mental image), might suddenly appear and plead with me to sketch it out immediately. (Many of which never get on paper, because of inopportune times.) Other times, I will be reading about or witness a culture or past civilizations and feel a connection. I will say all of my work is inspired in a way, even commissions. Although, the seeds are planted by my clients on these.

I've decided to open this new section of my site for pieces which I feel are deemed to have their own showcase. Over the last couple years I've been working on the development of a new approach or style to portray some other strong interests of mine. Some of these are Ancient civilizations, Architecture and Classic Art & Sculpture. My mixed media pieces are an enjoyable outlet for me to experiment with. They might include canvas, texture, oil, acrylic, glaze, pastel, metallics, stone & other natural materials. It's nice to work with all these elements and feel their different energies. I believe this style has much depth and aids the overall emotion of viewing the art. I hope you enjoy.
