It pains me to have to take this shot, with the perspective off. (the urn and pedestal really are level) But, we must move on. In the fourth arch here, we see a picturesque view of the other side, leading into the western hills. The sun is lower in the sky, therefore casting strong shadows. My client hoped that I'd include an approaching storm from the west, with rays of sun streaming down through the clouds, and since weather has always fascinated me, I obliged. The vineyard road stretches off around the corner, then lined with poplar trees from there. Can you see the neighboring chateau on the hill, in the far distance? |
