Central Focus

The color starts going up here. The central focus area can be interpreted in different ways, and it’s always nice to hear them. But, for me I wanted the focus to be bright and vivid, which is also what the community group asked of me for the whole mural. The area needs a bright horizon. I worked with many different ideas of merging color but using solid swaths of it, needed for the mosaic approach. The is the first mural or painting I’ve ever done without the need for blending. For large-scale work like this, your eye blends for you. After this, I love mosaics.
