Giclees are high quality prints using the latest technology. The images are produced one at a time on a printer, not a press, which allows me to visually inspect each one as they're made. If it meets my approval, I'll sign & number it. The word Giclee (jee-clay) means 'to spray with ink' and is referring to the way the ink is applied to the paper or canvas. The surface I use is a high quality Watercolor paper, thick and heavy, and has been tested to show a life of 150 years or more. (archival) This process is able to capture the colors and texture of the original so well, that I was very impressed with the first one I saw... (these babies are almost Like the originals!) I've chosen this method of printing because quality is my priority. With that in mind, the low edition sizes, reasonable prices and your great taste in art make these a valuable investment.
